Description
The VA intends to purchase 4 warming cabinets with 4 mobile carts. This posting is a combined synopsis and solicitation and the VA is accepting quotes for these items as described below. Clauses that are applicable to this action include FAR clauses 52.212-4; 52.212-5; and VAAR clauses 852.203-70; 852.211-70; 852-211-73; 852-246-70. Offers from vendors qualified in the following socio-economic groups will be considered in descending order: (1) SDVOSB; (2) VOSB; (3) Small Businesses. Award will be made to the vendor (SDVOSB first; VOSB second then Small Business third) offering a product that meets the following product specifications, can provide FOB Destination shipping and deliver the items no later than September 30, 2009. The cabinets must be equal to the Blickman Item Number 7927MG and the mobile carts must be made specifically for the cabinets. WARMING CABINET SPECIFICATIONS: 1 door; Short depth to fit on standard counter tops; Height must not exceed 25"; Suitable for use in limited spaces; 3 to 4 cubic feet capacity warming compartment; Exterior and interior of cabinet must be made of stainless steel for easy cleaning; Cabinet door may have glass for visibility; Must operate on standard 110/120V AC; Variable temperature control with indicator for excessive temperature; Temperature range should be between 90 and 175 degrees Fahrenheit in one-degree increments; Safety alarm, audible and visual with an automatic safety switch; Electrical cord must have a hospital-grade cap; Heating time from cold start must not exceed 6 hours; Medical Grade; Easy cleaning; and Intended application must be medical. MOBILE CART SPECIFICATIONS: Stainless steel; Easy cleaning; Medical grade; Must be made specifically for the warming cabinet, above. Quotes must be received by the Contracting Officer no later than 11:00 p.m. on August 19, 2009. Quote may be emailed to charlene.duncan@va.gov (preferred) or faxed to 509-527-3473. Quotes from all responsive and responsible SDVOSB; VOSB and Small Business firms will be considered for award.
