- Arcata Associates, Inc. intends to issue a contract for the renewal of softwarelicense maintenance support services, for sole make and model Mercury Interactive brandperpetual licenses. These licenses are used by engineers on the UNITeS Prime Contract, insupport of the IEM Program, which is managed at the Marshall Space Flight Center, AL.There is one (1) line item, which contains a bundled package of software suites withvarious quantities for each suite, and the Performance Period will run from, 01 Oct 2009through 30 SEP 2010. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).Arcata Associates, Inc. intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested firms have until 27 Aug 2009 4:00 PM CDST to submit in writing to theidentified point of contact, the attached Request for Quote, and all associated paperworkper the special instructions. Responses received after 27 Aug 2009 4:00 PM CDST withoutthe required information will be considered non responsive to the synopsis/solicitationand will not be considered. A determination by Arcata Associates, Inc. to not competethis proposed effort on a full and open cost competitive basis, based upon responses tothis notice is solely within the discretion of Arcata Associates, IncThis announcement constitutes the only solicitation request; quotes are being requestedper the attached Request for Quotation (RFQ) document, located in the attached Word filewith complete descriptions and quantities, together with Representation andCertifications, and Arcata Associates, Inc. Terms and Conditions. All documents must becompleted and returned, in order for the vendor to be considered responsive.It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this Internet site for the release of anyamendments, and clarifying questions and answers.
