- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) is seeking a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL TO the following five (5) items: Vendor Fluke Biomedical (1) part number 2249036; Quantity = 1. Essential characteristics: Dynamic simulations for arm and wrist cuff monitors, upgraded waveform test suite with more physiological selections, internal pump for use in high and low pressure release verification leak testing and pressure sourcing, RS-232 for computer control and Arrhythmia simulations, including premature atrial contractions #1 and #2, atrial fibrillation and PVCs. (2) Part number 2251504; Quantity = 1. Essential characteristics: Oscilloscope output, high-frequency leakage and return electrode contact quality monitor tests, instantaneous and signal-averaging measurement mode, and ability to connect with Fluke Biomedical medTester 5000C for automated solution. (3) Part number 2811919; Quantity = 1. Essential characteristics: ensures proper operation and performance of critical life support cardiac resuscitation equipment, AED technology compatibility and the range of test loads and measurement algorithms needed to test external transcutaneous pacemakers. (4) Part number 2128272; Quantity = 1. Essential characteristics: capability to measure either high- or low-flow and pressure, can efficiently test both conventional mechanical ventilators and high-frequency ventilators, special-function tests make troubleshooting quick and efficient and measures 21 ventilator parameters and can display all of them on one screen. Part number 2250244; (5) Quantity = 1. Essential characteristics: optical simulator for oximeters, portable with motion presets, player mode, transmission level control and computer commands to boots testing ability. Items are to be shipped directly to Ft. Sam Houston, TX 78234. This announcement constitutes solicitation number W81XWH-09-T-0516 by USAMRAA, Ft Detrick, MD as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and offers must be submitted in writing (oral offers will not be accepted). The solicitation document and incorporated Provisions and Clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-22. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The SIC Code is 3829; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334519; the FSC 6625.
