Description
This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable.The Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane has a requirement for AN/USQ-113(V)3 common improved operator control panels, (CIOCP) PN 3705AS16-7, with an estimated quantity of 35 units, master flash drives, PN 802028346377-1, with an estimated quantity of 100 units, slave flash drives, PN 802028346377-2, with an estimated quantity of 100 units. This procurement includes spares, repairs, modifications, design upgrades and engineering support. The estimated quantity for repairs is 200 units. This is not a commercial item. A requirements contract will be awarded. Contract ordering period is for a five-year period from award date of contract. Delivery will be FOB destination. The CIOCP and the flash drives are due 180 days after receipt of an order. The repairs are due 30 days after receipt of an order. Accelerated deliveries will be acceptable at no additional cost to the Government. Inspection and acceptance criteria will be determined for each delivery order. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Parvus Corporation located at Salt Lake City, UT. A requirements contract will be issued to Parvus Corporation. The Government does not own nor possess the necessary level III hardware documentation for full and open competition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Alpha contracting procedures will be utilized and a formal solicitation will not be issued.
