- The U.S. Coast Guard intends to procure audio/visual services for the World Maritime Day Parallel Event. This proposed procurement is for services/supplies for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis to: KVL Audio Visual Services, 466 Saw Mill River Rd, Ardsley, NY 10502-2112 SCOPE: 1.)The Coast Guard will be purchasing audio visual services to support the World Maritime Day parallel event activities which include opening and closing remarks, discussion panel, award presentation, an a keynote speech. KVL Audio Visual Services will also provide high-speed webcast of the World Maritime Day parallel event which will be accessible through public websites and accessible to other Coast Guard units which are hosting their own World Maritime Day events. 2.)KVL Audio Visual is the sole audio visual service provider for the Pier 60 venue which was contracted for this event. KVL Audio Visual Services has a historical working relationship with Pier 60 and is the sole provider which has familiarity with the event space, it’s electrical and internet connection and the venue limitations and building constraints. Note 22. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
