- Description
- The Defense Supply Center, Columbus has posted draft solicitation #2 for the Maritime Federal Supply Class – Supply Chain Partnership (FSC-SCP) to the project website at: www.dscc.dla.mil/programs/FSCInitiatives/index.html. The initiative is primarily for customer direct support contracts for CONUS/OCONUS for NSNs from the 16 Federal Supply Class (FSC) groupings as listed at the website. It is the government’s intent to award one contract for each FSC Grouping. DSCC anticipates SPM7MX-09-R-0008 will be issued for receipt of proposals early to mid September 2009. When issued, the RFP will be posted on DIBBS at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP. Vendors are requested to review draft #2 and provide any questions / comments / recommendations to the following e-mail address: dscc.maritime.fsc@dla.mil. Provide responses on or before August 20, 2009. DISCLAIMER Responses to draft solicitation #2 are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This draft is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a valid solicitation. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this draft solicitation or to otherwise pay for information received in response to this draft solicitation. All information received in response to this draft solicitation that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to draft solicitation #2 will not be returned. Information provided in response to this draft will be used to assess tradeoffs and alternatives available for determining how to proceed in the acquisition process. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this draft RFP. Additional Information: There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by industry responses to this draft solicitation. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized in the Federal Business Opportunities website located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and posted to the DLA DIBBS website.
