MARY BRINKLEY'S CONTACT INFORMATION IS IN THE BODY OF THESOLICITATION********This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial itemsprepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented withadditional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for an Adapt Laser SystemsCL 20 Backpack Mobile Compact Laser. This will be used to prepare the surface of metallic test article for strain gageinstallation. Specifications are attached. If not quoting specific model, please quote"same as" or equal to". This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 333411. Theofferor shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. Delivery to Marshall Space Flight Center, Central Shipping and Receiving Building 4631,MSFC, AL 35812. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement D0-C9. Offers for the items(s) described above are due no later than 4:30 p.m. CST. August 14,2009. Offers must includesolicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule,discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number(TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorizedcompany representative. Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (JUNE 2008), Instructionsto Offerors-Commercial Items, which is incorporated by reference. If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in theclause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the offeror shall so state and shall listthe country of origin.
