Description

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to the Kroll Ontrack, Eden Prairie, MN 55347. This is a One Time Buy to acquire (6PC 5.1 EX Commercial License, PN: 90PCC51LE and Maintence for the PC 5.1 for 12 months. This software must be compatible with the software that the FBI presently owns. The Kroll Ontrack is the sole provider for this software. There are no resellers for this software. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. However, all responsible parties who identify their interest and capability to satisfy this request will be considered. No solicitation will be issued, therefore, all requests for this solicitation will be considered non-responsive. A determination not to compete this action based on responses received is at the sole discretion of the Government. All parties must express their capabilities in writing via email at: mabel.comfort@ic.fbi.gov or by facsimile at (202)324-3104 within 7 days of the date this notice was published. If no competitive responses are received by 08/18/2009, 4:00 pm EST, an award will be made to the Oracle Corporation. All FBI contractors are required to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award.
