- Synopsis/Solicitation This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The U.S Army, CECOM Contracting Center, Army Contracting Command, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703 intends to make this procurement a one hundred percent (100%) Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 333618 with the small business size standard being 1,000 employees or less. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W15P7T-09-Q-K212 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation is issued from the U.S Army, CECOM Contracting Center, Army Contracting Command, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703, CCCE-CB-TAD, for the procurement of a quantity of nine (9) Gear Assembly, Speed Reducer; NSN 3010-01-090-9513, Part Number SM-C-948310-1 and six (6) Gear Assembly, Speed Reducer; NSN 3010-01-090-9514, Part Number SM-C-948310-2. Both NSNs listed above are part of the AS-3199 Satellite Antenna. Warranty: Provide with quote, standard commercial warranty information. PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES applicable to this acquisition are as follows: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, no addenda included. Quoters are entitled to complete and submit a copy of the Far provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; this provision is to be sent as a separate electronic attachment. FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders both apply to this acquisition. This will be FOB Destination as implemented by FAR 52.247-34 and the packaging will be commercial as implemented by local CECOM clause 52.7043 Standard Practice for Commercial Packaging. The delivery schedule for these items will be as follows: NSN 3010-01-090-9513; a quantity of nine (9) within ninety (90) days after contract award and NSN 3010-01-090-9514; a quantity of six (6) within ninety (90) days after contract award. Shipments are to be FOB Destination. The above listed NSNs are to be shipped to the following location: SU Transportation Officer DDSP New Cumberland Facility 2001 Normandy Drive, Door 113 to 134 New Cumberland, PA 17070-5002 All Contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award or quotes will not be considered. Vendors may register with CCR by calling 1-800-334-3414 or register online at http://www.CCR.gov. In accordance with FAR 52.212-2, the Government intends to make an award to the Contractor who submits the lowest, responsive quote, and is deemed acceptable and responsible by the Contracting Officer. The anticipated award will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The Quoters must submit quotes on the full quantity identified. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to make no award under this procedure. Quotes are to be received within thirty (30) DAYS of the posting of this COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION. The US Army CECOM LCMC has established the IBOP website as part of the Armys Single Face to Industry, to allow electronic posting of Solicitation for Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from CECOM LCMC to industry. All parties interested in doing business with the CECOM Contracting Center are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offers specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.
