Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the reproduction of historic Spanish Royal Marine uniforms of the 1740's era to include breeches, waistcoat and regimental great coat. The contractor shall provide a quote to reflect all labor, equipment, materials, tools, parts, shipping, and all other items necessary to provide the following items:30 each Spanish Royal Marine Breeches, outer body Woolrich 85/15 Royal Blue wool, interior fully lined with muslin, waist band lined in drilling, 2 functional pockets of drilling, french fly, 13 flat coin brass buttons;30 each Spanish Royal Marine Waistcoat, outer body Woolrich 85/15 Scarlet Wool, Interior lined in coarse fustian, (linen/cotton), 2 functional pockets, 18 flat coin brass buttons;30 each Spanish Royal Marine Regimental Great Coat, outer body of Woolrich 85/15 Royal Blue Wool, Cuffs of Woolrich 85/15 Scarlet Wool, Upper body and sleeves lined in coarse fustian, Skirts lined in red linen, 2 functional pockets, skirts to be fully pleated and equipped with sets of hooks and eyes, Cuffs to be functional, 27 flat coin brass buttons. The Government contemplates award of a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors, in descending order of importance, shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) technical capability of the offerer to meet the Government requirement, (2) price, and (3) past performance. Castillo de San Marcos National Monument contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract based on the responses to this combined synopsis/solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation that will be issued for this requirement; quotations are required to be completed on company letterhead marked with the solicitation number Q5260090020. Offers may be submitted by email to lori_cain@nps.gov, or fax to 340-719-1791. Quotes are due by August 14, 2009, 10:00 AM, Eastern Standard Time. CCR Requirement - Company must be registered on Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before an award can be made to them. If company is not registered in CCR, they may do so by going to CCR web site at http://www.ccr.gov.
