Cherry Point Map Jacksonville Map Pt. Mugu Map Norfolk Map Pre-Solicitation Conference Agenda Questions and Answers ********** Pre-Solicitation Conference and Site Visit Information The Fielded Training Systems Support (FTSS) III Pre-Solicitation Conference will take place on Friday, 14 August 2009 at Naval Station (NS) Norfolk. The conference will be held in Ely Hall, 9075 5th Avenue, Bldg SP-17, Norfolk, VA 23511. Registration will begin at 7:30 AM EST. (See attached agenda.) The Pre-Solicitation conference material covers both Multiple Award Contracts (MACs), the Unrestricted MAC and the Small Business Set-Aside MAC. The E-2C site visit at Naval Base Venture County (NBVC) Point Mugu, CA begins at 9:00 AM PST on Tuesday, 11 August 2009. The visit will begin in Building 508, which is located at the corner of Photo Road and 13th Street. (See attached map.) The NASTP site visit at NS Norfolk is planned to begin at 1:00 PM EST on Friday, 14 August 2009. The actual start time may vary depending on the duration of the Pre-Solicitation conference and follow up questions and answers. The visit will begin in Building SP-214, which is located in close proximity to the Pre-Solicitation conference location. (See attached map.) The E-2C site visit at NS Norfolk begins at 8:30 AM EST on Saturday, 15 August 2009. The visit will begin at Ely Hall. (See attached map.) The NASTP site visit at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, NC begins at 9:00 AM EST on Monday, 17 August 2009. The visit will begin in Building 3957, which is located around the corner of 4th Avenue and E Street. (See attached map.) The NASTP site visit at Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville, FL begins at 9:00 AM EST on Wednesday, 19 August 2009. The visit will begin in Building 928, which is located at the corner of Ajax and Saratoga, across the street (to the west) of McDonald's. Visitors should enter via the main (Yorktown) gate so as to obtain their base pass at pass & I.D. Attendees will need their driver's license, proof of insurance, and car registration / rental car agreement. Once they have their base pass, they continue on Yorktown for eight traffic lights, make a right on Mustin, then an immediate left on Saratoga. ASTC Jax is 1.5 blocks down the street on the right hand side. ********** Answers to several of the questions submitted to the Government in response to the Draft RFP posted on 10 July 2009 are included with this posting. Additional questions may answered via a future posting. If changes to the solicitation are required in light of questions submitted in response to the Draft RFP, they will be incorporated into the official RFP document when it is released.
