- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SEEKS LEASED OFFICE SPACE IN ALBANY, NY STAR #: 8NY2119 The United States Government seeks to lease contiguous office space on the ground floor or second floor serviced by an elevator with a heavy-duty commercial standard capacity for a low-rise building. The space offered must consist of approximately 4,729 rentable square feet in the Albany, NY. The space should yield 4,112 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet up to the maximum of 4,235 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet. The Government will require fourteen (14) outside parking spaces that may need to be secured. The proposed space must be located within the following delineated area: North: I-87 South: Wolf Road, Computer Drive E., Aviation Road, Rustyville Road East: Albany Shaker Road West: Central Avenue The proposed lease is for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm, and must be fully serviced. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than August 1, 2010. The offered space must meet Government requirements for GSA Life and Fire Safety Standards and Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards (ABBAS) Requirements. Consideration shall be based on the area profile, location, and proposed security precautions if the location would be utilized.
