- Description
- The United States Government, Customs and Border Protection, under the Georgia Border Security and Law Enforcement (GBSLE) Program, has granted to the Georgian Revenue Service (GRS) three (3) physical facilities that have been constructed in order to assist them in improved border security and customs activities. The facilities are as follows: 1)Lagodekhi Port of Entry, Customs Department, Georgia: Lagodekhi is in East Georgia, (Kakheti region) bordering Azerbaijan and is approximately160 km (100 mi.) away from Tbilisi (approximate location: GPS 414919N, 0461633E). 2)Kazbegi Port of Entry, Customs Department, Georgia: Kazbegi is in Northern Georgia and on the border with North Ossetia (Russia). Kazbegi is approximately 150km (94 mi.) away from Tbilisi (approximate location: 42°39N, 44°38E). 3) Lilo Training Center for Customs Department, Georgia: Lilo is a suburb of Tbilisi near the airport (approximate location: GPS 414004N, 0445456E). The purpose of this contract is to acquire the services of a capable contractor(s) to 1) maintain and service the mechanical and electrical systems at the above facilities, and 2) train the GRS personnel to competently perform all preventive maintenance, in a manner that provides for a high level of reliable continuous operation of those systems, provide for minimal down time, lowest possible operating costs, and increased longevity/useful life of the systems being maintained. In order to achieve this, the Contractor shall be responsible for the: 1)Performance of periodic maintenance service for the electrical and mechanical systems and related equipment at each facility; 2)Providing of spare parts and materials necessary for the maintenance of the specified systems and equipment at each facility; 3)Performance of corrective maintenance as required; 4)Emergency response, troubleshooting and repair of systems and/or components, as necessary; and 5)Training of GRS personnel at the above facilities to perform systems/equipment maintenance in the future. The contract period is for 1 year, commencing upon award of the contract. Interested concerns are encouraged to view the solicitation document uploaded at this site.
