Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Lakehurst, New Jersey (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into a sole source contract with Sikorsky Aircraft Co. of 6900 Main Street Stratford, CT 06615-9129 as per the authority of 10 USC 2304(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The purpose of the proposed contract is to procure ISIL Spares for interim to support initial maintenance of the Stabilator Repair Set (P/N 38076-00017-002). These support equipment tools were specifically designed and developed by Sikorsky Aircraft Company. Sikorsky Aircraft Company is the only known source with the knowledge, experience, and technical data to fulfill this requirement. The Government does not own the data rights necessary to provide the required spares. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
