- Description
- RECOVERY: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY REQUIREMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS PROVIDED BY THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009, PUBLIC LAW 111-5. This serves as notice of award of a modification against GSA Task Order EA1330-09-NC-0310 for increased support in the area of interfacing and integrating existing NOAA feeder systems with the NOAA Data Warehouse (NDW), creating a Recovery Act data mart and constructing interfaces to enable ARRA data to be reconciled within the NDW data so that ARRA data can be consistently reported, interfaced to external systems and made available through a web portal to ultimately enable and ensure data transparency and access. A time and materials task order modification is most appropriate as it is not possible to accurately estimate the exact extent or duration of the ARRA driven work or to anticipate costs with any reasonable degree of confidence. The ARRA reporting requirements include additional data elements which are not currently collected or distributed by the NDW. The needed changes or enhancements to the affected systems are specified within the modification's Statement of Work (SOW); however, the exact approach or methodology to be utilized to ultimately execute the SOW is unknown until they are fully developed and designed by the contractor.
