- Task Order Statement of Work for Light Table Maintenance and Software Support This is a notice of intent, not a request for a proposal. A solicitation will not be issued and a proposal will not be requested. This announcement is solicited and unrestricted and will not be set aside for small businesses. The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, (NGA), intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a Sole Source basis with the Richards Corporation, 44931 Falcon Place, Sterling, VA. 20166-9510. The Richards Corporation will maintain equipment information in the Remedy database including location changes, equipment status, and preventative maintenance schedule. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. NGA intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price Level of Effort type contract for 2.5 Full Time Employees to provide Light Table Maintenance and Software Support Services located at various NGA locations throughout the Continental U.S. in accordance with Attachment 1, (Statement of Work (SOW). The NATIONAL GEOSPATIAL-INTELLIGENCE AGENCY, (NGA) is soliciting for 2.5 FTE's on a level-of-effort basis beginning after the Award date using the ordering procedures of FAR Part 12 and Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-33. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested firms may identify their capabilities in response to this synopsis within 10 business days after this notice is posted. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
