Description
It is the intent of the Joint State-Federal Agency Board (JSFB) and Citizen Advisory Board (CAB) to solicit proposals to select a Trust Manager for the Montana Fish and Wildlife Conservation Trust (Trust) in accordance with all of the requirements established by Congress in the Canyon Ferry Reservoir, Montana Act, Public Law No. 105-277. The purpose of the Trust is to provide a permanent source of non-federal funding to acquire publicly accessible land in the State to restore and conserve fisheries habitat, including riparian habitat, restore and conserve wildlife habitat, enhance public hunting, fishing and recreational opportunities, and improve public access to public lands. The Trust Manager will be responsible for investing the corpus of the Trust and disbursing the funds from the Trust after receiving requests for disbursement from the JSFB and CAB after it is determined that the requests meet the purpose of the Trust. Interested parties need to contact Deb Lane at (406) 458-0389 or at dlane@mtwf.org for a copy of the Sources Sought Narrative. The Narrative must be completed and returned to Deb Lane, P.O. Box 1993, Helena, MT 59624, received by close of business on Friday August 28, 2009. After information provided by interested parties has been evaluated, the JSFB and CAB will appoint the Trust Manager.
