- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER to the contract awarded to NAC Architecture of Spokane WA, under the facilities ID/IQ contract.RECOVERY ACT HVAC DESIGN SDS: The following requirement for A/E design services Install New Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning System to service the SDS floor at the VAMC Spokane is advertised as "information only" and is limited to the contract awarded to NAC Architecture of Spokane WA, under the facilities ID/IQ contract. Provide professional AE services to produce a complete design, construction, contract, bid drawings and specification for a complete installation of a HVAC system serving the 6th floor in building 1 per VA requirements. This should include AHU-7, AHU-5N, AHU-17 and coordination with the A/E designing 2 south retrofit project. Complete site survey and capturing (documenting) of the existing building condition such as structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering design and construction work. This will include but not limited to AHU-7, AHU-5N and AHU-17. Remove the existing duct system serving 2 south and old library from 2nd floor to AHU-7 on 9TH. Design development of new or retrofit HVAC systems including all the duct work, all coils, filters, fans, motors, drives, sensors, valves, insulation, humidifiers, and appurtenances associated with AHU-7, AHU-5N and AHU-17 changing all fan coil units served by AHU-7 to VAV boxes having individual room thermostat and removing existing steam fin tubes units, repairing the opening to match existing (new wall, paint, etc). Design development for demolition and removal of the existing systems.
