Description
Clarifying some questions recently recieved: "11 Pallets (Max 10,500lbs ea)" refers to weight concerns. In the furture our customer may need to store 11 Pallets (108" x 98") with a max expected weight of 10.5k lbs. Q: Does the mezzanine need to be clear span underneath or can there be a few support columns? A: there can be some supports Q: The 12' that you have distinguished as the height of the mezzanine, is that under steel or is that top of deck? A: 12 feet to the bottom of the under floor support Q: Do you want a stair access system for the mezzanine? A: yes Q: Are we to supply the conveyor and, if so, is there a layout? A: Yes, and the layout would be rolling from front (the 28 foot end) to the back (there is, however, no drawn layout) Q: Are we responsible for bringing power from the main to the mezzanine? If so, what is the distance from the main to the mezzanine? A: Yes, it is approx. 45 ft. Q: For the conveyor - is the conveyor powered or gravity? A: Gravity Q: Why is it necessary to be able to remove the floor? Why can't the pallets be stored on a solid floor? A: The floor will be a basic resindeck or plywood that is layed over the rollers. The pallets cannot be stored on the ground due to not being able to get a forklift on the mezzanine. The floor will later be removed by the customer when they are ready to store pallets. For the time being it will used to store lockers. Q: Do the rollers/temporary flooring need to cover the entire floor? A: It is preferred that the rollers cover the entire floor as well as the temporary flooring.
