Description
Equipment Table RFQ COMBINED SYNOPSIS - SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS (IAW FAR 12.603 (c)) (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation/synopsis reference number is F1M1G89126A001 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-34. (iv) This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 314912 with a 500 employee size standard. (v) Contractors shall submit a per unit and lump sum total quote (by filling out the attached Request for Quote (RFQ) form) for the requirement listed in paragraph (vi) below. (vi) Description of requirement: 40' x 36" Portable, collapsable, light weight, low profile multi-function work surface system for deployed personnel, to be transported via C-17 and other cargo transport systems. Intended use: inspecting and re-packing parachutes, life rafts, escape slides, and as personal workstations for administrative and life support personnel in field conditions. Salient Characteristics include: 1. Transport size must be compatible with C-17 pallet system. 2. Strength - when assembled, must support 50lbs per square foot of work surface. 3. Weight - minimized to greatest practical extent for cargo transport and single person set up and break down operations. 4. Work surface - easy to clean in field conditions. 5. Tables should have capability to be wheeled around as needed 6. Provide platform for packing/inspecting parachutes, life rafts, emergency escape slides, and survival kits 7. The under sides of the work surface should include space to store and secure all castor wheels, extension tubing, and connection fittings 8. Work surfaces -easily/quickly removed and replaced in field conditions, if damaged 9. Adjustable work surface height 10. Work surfaces should have a locking system to be able to connect to one another from end to end, side to side, end to side, and top to bottom (vii) Delivery - within 30 days of award date. Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement. 2. Price. - The total price for the requirement.
