- Solicitation AG-82X9-S-09-0260 is for the 2009 Stewardship Roads Project for the Arapaho Roosevelt National Forest and Pawnee National Grassland’s Canyon Lakes Ranger District. The work required for this contract involves reconstructing and maintaining native and aggregate surfaced roads. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials to perform the requirements of this contract. This project shall follow the Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Projects, FPO 3 Metric Unit, as enclosed in the solicitation package. The roads included in this contract are located at various locations on the Canyon Lakes Ranger District of the Arapaho/Roosevelt National Forest. The roads are East of the Laramie River Valley Road (County road 103) and North of the Poudre River Road (State Highway 14). The desired start of work date for this project is as soon as practicable after contract award. The Contractor will be given 50 days to complete the project. The Government estimate for this project is below $100,000. The solicitation for this project shall be issued on or around August 5, 2009. The solicitation will be available for free download at www.fbo.gov. Proposals will be due on or around September 11, 2009. This date is subject to change and will be confirmed on the solicitation package and may be changed on consequent amendments issued for this solicitation. There will be a pre-proposal meeting for this project on August 11, 2009 at 08:00 local time. This site visit will be held at the Arapaho Roosevelt National Forest and Pawnee National Grassland Canyon Lakes Ranger District (CLRD) Office located at 2150 Centre Avenue, Building E, Fort Collins, Colorado, 80526. A site visit will follow the meeting at the CLRD Office. All parties who will attend this site visit must RSVP with Steve Wood on or before August 10, 2009 for the pre-proposal meeting by calling 970-295-6751. This project is being set aside for Small Business Concerns. The NAICS code for this project is 237310. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted in writing to cschofield@fs.fed.us or via facsimile to 970-295-6699. Only written questions will be addressed. All Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor’s Registry (CCR) in accordance with FAR 52.207-4 to be considered for award. All Offerors must be registered in ORCA in accordance with FAR 52.204-8 to be considered for award. All Offerors must address all Evaluation Criteria in Section M to be considered for award. Offerors who fail to do so will be considered unresponsive.
