- RECOVERY--CHARBONNEAU PARK is located 8.3 miles east of Burbank, Washington on highway 124, approximately three miles upstream from Ice Harbor Lock and Dam on the Snake River. The work consists mainly of an upgrade to the 54 recreation vehicle (R.V.) campsite pedestals in the campground area as well as six additional R.V. campsite pedestals and lighting and receptacle service for the pavilion station. Remove existing electrical equipment such as equipment brackets, supports, enclosures, transformers, panel boards, fittings, wires, receptacles, breakers, mounts, cement pads, protruding ground rods, old pedestal posts and pedestals that will not be used by the new service. Abandon in-place original buried electrical lines. Electrical wire up to the primary side of the transformer distribution point, load break junction boxes and distribution transformers will be provided by others. The contractor shall purchase the meter box from the local electrical utility. The contractor is responsible to provide all material, equipment and labor necessary to supply electric service from the secondary distribution transformers to the final R.V. campsite pedestals. Work includes using horizontal directional drilling for installation of conduits under paved roads, and seeding or sodding of disturbed areas. Distances for electrical feeds may vary due to circumventing natural or man-made obstacles. This work will require approximately one to three miles of trenching which includes trenches for equipment supplied by others. Coordinate energizing and de-energizing electric power with local electrical utility. FISHHOOK PARK is located 18 miles east of Burbank, Washington on highway 124, approximately thirteen miles upstream from Ice Harbor Lock and Dam on the Snake River. The work consists mainly of an upgrade to the 41 R.V. campsite pedestals in the campground. Remove existing electrical equipment such as, but not limited to, equipment brackets, supports, enclosures, transformers, panel boards, fittings, wires, receptacles, breakers, mounts, cement pads, protruding ground rods, pedestals that will not be used by the new service. Leave pedestal post if water lines are attached. Abandon in-place original buried electrical lines. Electrical wire up to the primary side of the transformer distribution point, load break junction boxes and distribution transformers will be provided by others. The bid opening date will be contained in the solicitation and any solicitation amendments that may be issued.
