Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), Panama City, Florida is soliciting competitive quotations from qualified small businesses to purchase two (2) Communications Interface Units (National Stock Number 5895 01 543 1657) in accordance with the appropriate drawing. Drawings are available electronically and must be requested from the buyer by e-mail. Drawings are limited to DOD and DOD Contractors. This particular board is a MIL-STD-1553 Data 3U Computer Interface Card. The required delivery date will be 30 October 2009. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to NSWC PCD, 110 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407. This requirement is 100% set aside for small businesses. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334418, and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The closing date to submit quotes is 31 August 2009. The Department of Defense will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the CCR under the advertised NAICS code. Vendors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment office may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payments are based on the contractor's EFT information contained in the CCR database. The NSWCPC has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area. Therefore, this synopsis and any applicable amendments will be available at https://www.fbo.gov. Vendors should regularly access this web site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments.
