Description: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W15P7T-09-R-W435. This synopsis is for informational purposes only. The US Army CECOM Contracting Center-Army Contracting Command, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703, intends to issue a sole source new work modification to Contract Number W15P7T-04-D-L606 for spares and Time and Materials (T&M) field support services to Cubic Defense Applications, Inc. 933 Balboa Ave. San Diego, CA 92123-1515. This effort will extend the contracts ordering period from 30 September 2009 to 31 December 2009 to enable additional Delivery/Task Orders (DOs/TOs) to be issued for depot level and field support services for the Ground Data Terminal (GDT). This effort is valued at $550K and will increase the contractual ceiling value. This acquisition will be a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. The GDT is part of the Common Ground Station (CGS) and is the ground segment of the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar Systems (JSTARS Surveillance and Control Data Link (SCDL). The Government does not posses detailed technical data for the GDT that would be essential for any other source to be able to produce form, fit, and functionally interchangeable spare parts to ensure the effective operation of the GDT and to provide the required support services. This sole source modification is authorized under FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), Only One Responsible Source and 10USC2304(c)(1). No formal Solicitation will be issued for this modification. Solicitation Number W15P7T-09-R-W435 is being used for reference purposes only. The US Army, CECOM LCMC has established the IBOP website as part of the Armys Single Face to Industry.
