- Modification 1 - The Sources Sought is open to both large and small businesses. The HQ Air Force Security Forces Center (HQ AFSFC) Nuclear Security Branch (SFON) is seeking sources capable of designing and delivering a complete training package to train in Air Force Nuclear Surety courses for nuclear base leadership. This training package will include but not limited to Computer-Based Training (CBT), classroom lecture materials, and interactive scenarios/decision-making exercises. The course will be conducted over a 5-day period, with the following learning objectives: Understand the Air Force Nuclear Surety Program; be able to prepare, execute, conduct Nuclear Surety Inspection, and be able to produce the report capturing the inspection results. At the end of this effort, the contractor shall deliver a complete training package to include all training materials, all computer programs and software. No contractor proprietary software/hardware will be used and all materials and software developed under this contract shall be Air Force properties. A full Performance Work Statement will be issued at the time of the solicitation. The period of performance will be from 1 September 2009 through 31 July 2010. This notice is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a formal solicitation or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire services. The Government is not liable for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this request for information. The purpose of this request for information is to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources pursuant to FAR Part 10. This is open to both large and small businesses. Please provide nuclear environment experience, education and security clearance which requires Top Secret/RD/FRD/CNWDI level information in response to this notice. Also, include existing contracts that provide this type of service.
