Description

THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVER AND REINVESTMENT ACT PROGRAM. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District intends to issue a task order against an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Architect-Engineer Services contract for operations and maintenance (O&M) projects for the US Army Department of Public Works. "DPW", primary various locations, Alaska. (Contract Number W911KB-09-D-0002 with Design Alaska Inc.) This Task Order is for buildings 1, 7 and 690 to reduce energy consumption by installing a temperature/moisture sensing control/actuation system for sidewalks. Cost savings will be realized through reduced energy consumption. This project will research and develop a means of controlling the snow melt system to automatically shut down the system when not needed. This task order will be funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The opportunity is available only to contractor Design Alaska under contract number W911KB-09-D-0002, which was previously competed and award in FY09. This in not a request for competitive proposals, nor is a solicitation available. This notice is provided for informational purposed under the American and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Program.
