Description

The following requirement will be added to the solicitation: Design and build a new hot water supply system with the ability to supply adequate hot water to the facility’s cafeteria and to the three Lower Level Two restrooms. The design must take into consideration that is a 100 % redundancy in the event the operating system was to fail. These two systems must have the ability to operate totally independent of one another. The installed hot water systems must have a thermal efficiency rating of at least 95% or greater, a storage capacity of approximately two hundred fifty US gallons of water each with a recovery rate of at least twenty-four US gallons per minute @ a 100 degree rise. The existing two hot water tanks and the two hot water heaters, their tanks, and all their accessories are to be removed from the building. The magnitude of the entire requirement covered under this notice is between $250,000 and $500,000.
