- Furnish labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, to reconfigure three (3) Artesian well sites. Currently each well head is contained in a below ground vault considered to be a confined space area. These areas may contain Hazardous gases, including radon, and may not be suitable for human occupancy without additional fresh air provided. Each wellhead reconfiguration shall include: the removal of the below ground corrugated metal pipe (CMP) vault, installing pitless units on each well casing, re-plumbing previously existing piping to nearest curbstop, and associated work for continued use, as shown on the drawings for each individual site, and as specified in the technical specifications. Completion of each well includes designing and installing Cathodic Protection and a wooden exclusion fence to be installed around each well site. Work under this contract is located in Fergus County, Montana. The period of performance is fourty five (45) days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Work will start on/about 10/1/2009. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 237110. The small business size standard is $33.5 million. A 100% payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment protection will be due 10 days after award. Payment protection can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. A tentative Site Tour is scheduled for August 24, 2009 at 10:00 AM. More information on the site tour will be posted in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on/about 8/12/2009. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office and will be available at "www.fedconnect.net". Search by the reference number "L09PS01101". Response date for quotes will be on/about 9/10/2009. Please check the solicitation for all required documentation to be submitted. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR and ORCA databases will make an offeror ineligible for award.
