- Broom, Brushes, Squeegees, Sponges and Cloth, Cleaning This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Solicitation No. QSDLAA-09-0629-N - FSC 7920 – (Brooms, Brushes, Mops and Cleaning Cloth) and is issued as a request for proposal. Proposed Period: Date of award though one year with four one year option periods. Item purchase descriptions are contained within the solicitation. Procurement is set-aside for small business for item(s) 1-8 and not set-aside for small business for item(s) 9-11. Delivery is required 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). Pricing is FOB destination. Award will be made item by item (per NSN) to the offeror who represents the best value to the Government utilizing the lowest priced technically acceptable process (page 87 – Evaluation-Commercial Items). The following documents are required at time of offer submission: (a) Technical Description, (b) Commitment Letter and (c) test reports for item 5 NSN 7920-01-634-2408 and Item 11 NSN 7920-01-180-0556 (Pages 82 and 83). Offerors shall review and complete all clauses and return complete solicitation package (pages 1-105) to include the required documentation. Offer must be signed and dated. Offerors that fail to furnish the required representations or information, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration for award. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Note the country of origin (manufacturer/production) must comply with the Trade Agreements Act (TAA). Product Conformance: The product(s) provided shall meet the salient characteristics identified in the item purchase description (IPD), conform to the producer's own specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices and be the same product offered for sale in the commercial market.
