- The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Joint Munitions & Lethality ContractingCenter Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey 07806- 5000, on behalf of PM IED Defeat/ Protect Force has a requirement for logistics support services to include, but not limited to logistics, training, equipment integration, sustainment, maintenance, provisioning, testing, assessing, training, liaison, trouble shooting, and total package fielding support for the PM IED Defeat/ PF family of systems in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait. Execution of the effort requires a Secret Security Clearance issued by the United States Government. The Government intends to fulfill this requirement via a 16 month Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) hybrid contract with an estimated maximum contract value of $50,000,000. It is the Governments intent to award this action on a sole source basis to R-4, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a) (2), only one responsible source. It is anticipated that this solicitation will be posted on the US Army Contracting Command, Joint Munitions & Lethality Contracting Center Procurement Network website located at http://procnet.pica.army.mil and https://www.fbo.gov/. Please note this notice does not constitute a Request For Proposal (RFP). The RFP is intended to be issued on or about 17 August 2009. The deadline for all proposals will be 30 days after issuance of the RFP.
