- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number M00681-09-T-0130 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-35 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Supplement, current to DCN 20090715-1. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 423830 and the small business size standard is 100. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small businesses. Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California, has a requirement for the following: CLIN 0001 Hydralic Lift System 20' Track. 2 each. Capable of supporting 35,000 pounds. Consisting of 4 vertical posts with runaway track between the posts. The lift will be actuated by a hydralic cylinder coupled to heavy duty leaf chain which rolls over roller bearings. Each post must be equipped with a spring loaded safety latch that is activated only when there is slack in the chains and a safety latch on the top rail in order to secure the platform at different elevations. CLIN 0002 Rolling Jacks, 2 each. Will be used to lift the vehicles once they are on the 20' track of the lift system. The rolling jacks will be set up under the track and will lift the vehicle by moving in a scissor-like motion causing the tracks to lift up. CLIN 0003. Installation, 1 each. All installation charges of the Lift systems. Date is to be determined by the contractor and the end user. CLIN 0004 Air Compressor 1 each. 15 Horse Power, 3 phase on a horizontal 120 gallon tank. 50.5 ACFM at 175 psi. It will have 100% removable cast iron cylinders, one piece connecting rods, centrifugal un-loader, two stage design and a finned copper intercooler. Will come with a magnetic starter mounted, wired and a belt guard. CLIN 0005 Installation of new Compressor and Removal of old Compressor, 1 each. CLIN 0006 Delivery, 1 each. To include all Delivery charges of Lift Sytem to the site of installation, 3d LAAD Battalion Motor Transportation bay, 32 Area MASS 3, Building 32867. Delivery date will be determined by the contractor and the end user.Site visit will be conducted at 1000 on July 30, 2009 at location of installation.The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter whose quotation conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government. Quoters responding to this announcement must provide the information contained in 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their quote. The quoter should also provide its Commercial and Government Entity (Cage) code, Contractor Establishment code (DUNS number) and Tax Identification Number. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register to submit quotes and be eligible for award (NO EXCEPTIONS). For information on registering with the CCR, visit www.ccr.gov. Quoters are required to be registered in Wide-Area Work Flow. Quoters can self-register for Wide-Area Work Flow (WAWF) at https://wawf.eb.mil. Any questions concerning this solicitation shall be submitted to the contracting office via email to Sgt.Edwards, no later than 1600 PST Aug 3, 2009. Contracting officer shall gather all questions from prospective vendors. Contracting officer will reply via email with answers by solicitation closing date. Solicitation shall be extended if additional time is needed for submission of quotes by interested parties. Although not required, interested parties may submit a sample of their product for evaluation by the government. A FedEx account number is required for vendors requesting return of sample product. The government will not be held responsible for the return of any sample not submitted with a FedEx account. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those quoters that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for award.
