- Description
- The USDA Forest Service, Gifford Pinchot National Forest intends to acquire by contract road maintenance services on the Cowlitz Valley Ranger District. This project is partially funded under Title II of the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act, involving special projects on Federal lands approved through the Lewis County Resource Advisory Committee. Project work may consist of any of the following: roadside brushing; danger tree removal; road surface & shoulder maintenance; culvert installation; culvert cleaning; ditch cleaning; and water bar and cross ditch installation. The contract issued as a result of this solicitation will be an Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) type contract. The minimum guarantee for this project is $25,000.00. The maximum amount that will be ordered from the individual contractor receiving award of a contract will be $500,000.00. The period for issuance of task orders will be from the date of contract award through September 30, 2010. The applicable NAICS codes for this procurement are 115310 and 237310, with a Small Business Size Standard of $7.0 million and $31 million respectively. The solicitation will be issued as a total HUBZone set-aside. The estimated issue date for the solicitation is August 7, 2009. Contract(s) will be awarded to the offeror representing the best value to the Forest Service based upon; price; benefit to the economy of Lewis County; experience; and past performance. Prospective contractors and subcontractors are requested to self-register below to receive notification of any postings concerning this project. The solicitation, and any amendments, will be made available at this internet site. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the Forest Service.
