- This is a SOLICITATION in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and SHALL be posted on NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, Port Hueneme, CA intends to procure the following items that are listed as open market items: MK 45 SWITCH TAGS FOR DRAWING NO 2125118 (924 EA), 3012340 (480 EA), 5329661 (132 EA), 2696349 (72 EA). This is for the MK45 gun systems, and the parts are in accordance with drawings, and will be located in various areas of the gun mount. Each item to be individuallly packaged in a clear bag and labeled and assembled in a largaer bag to form a set. The larger bag to be labeled with drawing number and pc numbers and will contain 77 pieces to make a set. Description: The NAICS code is 334220 and the Small Business Standard is 100 Employees. The contract type will be firm fixed price. This requirement is SOLE SOURCED to: Northcoast Performance & Machine Co, as the only source that can produce this parts. Time is crucial. There are no parts in the system to supply the fleet at this time. Vendor has manufacturered a majority of the parts and has the necessary tooling and capabilities to manufacture without excessive lead time. Dies and tooling are only available from one source at the present time. Any firms believing that they can provide the blah blah, per part number, may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this note. It must clearly show the firms ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the part without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Respond to Rachel T.
