- This is a COMBINED/SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for a commercial item prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12.603 and 5.203, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number for this effort is W15P7T-09-Q-N211 and is issued as a Request for Quotes. A written solicitation is provided on the IBOP. The United States Army Contracting Command - CECOM Contracting Center, located at Ft. Monmouth, NJ, 07703, intends to procure fifty (50) Electrical Electronic Equipment Chassis, NSN 5820-01-179-2792. The CECOM Contracting Center intends to make this procurement a one hundred percent (100%) small business set-aside. The Small Business size standard is 1000 people for the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 336111. Shipments made under this procurement will be Free On Board (FOB) Destination as implemented by 52.247-34. The packaging will be commercial as implemented by FAR 52.7043. Offerors are required to complete and submit a copy of the FAR provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. This provision is to be sent as a separate electronic attachment. The delivery schedule for the Electrical Electronic Equipment Chassis, NSN 5820-01-179-2792, will be as follows: WITH FIRST ARTICLE REQUIREMENTS 10 each 210 Days After Contract Award 20 each 240 Days After Contract Award 20 each 270 Days After Contract Award 20 monthly until completion WITHOUT FIRST ARTICLE REQUIREMENTS 10 each 120 Days After Contract Award 20 each 150 Days After Contract Award 20 each 180 Days After Contract Award 20 monthly until completion Please note: First Article tests will be waived for previous successful offerors. All items are to be shipped to: SU W1BG DEF DIST DEPOT SUSQUE DDSP New Cumberland Facility 2001 Normandy Drive, Door 113 to 114 New Cumberland, PA, 17070-5002 The Government intends to make an award to the Contractor who submits the lowest responsive bid, and is deemed acceptable and responsible by the Contracting Officer. Offerors must submit quotes on the full quantity identified. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to make no award under this procedure. Offers must be received within thirty (30) days of the posting of this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. All contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award or quotes will not be considered. Vendors may register with CCR by calling 1-800-334-3414 or register online at http://www.CCR.gov. The CECOM Contracting Center has established the IBOP website as part of the Armys Single Face to Industry, to allow electronic posting of Solicitation for Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from CECOM LCMC to industry. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM LCMC are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil A written notice of award shall be furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer and shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offers specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award. Offerors are encouraged to go to IBOP to view the solicitation. Responses to this Request for Quotes (RFQ) must be signed, dated, and received via electronic mail by August 21, 2009 no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard time. Responses should be marked with the solicitation number.
