- RECOVERY - Imperial Dam Dredging Project - Project LC11636541 The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for dredging at the Imperial Dam in Yuma, Arizona. This project will be partially or wholly funded from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). Please be advised that the Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of ARRA, which requires that each contractor report on its ARRA funds under the awarded contract. These reports will be made available to the public. Project Description: The purpose of the proposed project is for a Contractor to furnish all of the labor, dredge, support equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary for the performance of maintenance dredging along the overflow weir from the headworks of the All American Canal and north along the Colorado River channel for a distance of approximately 3,300 feet, approximately 2,100 feet along the face of the dam and weir, and approximately 1,200 feet north up the secondary river channel above the Gila Sluiceway adjacent to Hidden Shores (formerly Imperial Oasis) on the Arizona side of the river channel. The total estimated amount of material to be removed from within the specified limits, including side slopes, but excluding overdepths, is 1,175,000 cubic yards. Depending upon the availability of funding, Reclamation may also require the maintenance dredging of the Laguna Settling Basin.
