- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE Notice of intent to award a sole source contract to: Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc, 1808 136th Place NE, Bellevue, Washington 98005. Sea Bird Electronics will supply an array of Oceanographic monitoring equipment to Glacier Bay National Park at Gustavus, Alaska (See General Description below). Under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), the value of the contract is expected to be under $22,000. The National Park Service (NPS), Glacier Bay National Park requires one (1) each of the following:: 1. Sea-Bird SeaCat 19Plus v.2 CTD instrument, with 600 meter plastic housing and pump.2. 600 meter strain gauge pressure sensor.3. 600 meter dissolved oxygen sensor with profiling configuration.4. Biospherical QCP-2300L Quantum (cosine) PAR (log amp) sensor, 2000 meter integrated and cable-connected.5. WET Labs ECO-FLNTU(RT), Chlorophyll & Turbidity sensor, 125 ug/1 & 1000 NTU, 600 meter, integrated and cable-connected.6. 40" stainless steel cage. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. This supply will be procured under Firm Fixed Price Supply in accordance with FAR 12 procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1.
