Description
Questions and Answers VA-262-09-RQ-0408 1) Will all of the approximately 220 participants and family members be arriving at SD International on the same day, and at approximately the same time of day? If not, will we be provided with a manifest with all of the names and arrival times? There will be a manifest. The number may be less than 220. Some will arrive at the same time but not all will. I do not have the manifest yet. I will have it by Sept 1. 2) Are all of the 200 to 300 passengers and additional 20 passengers in wheelchairs required to be transported to Sea World at the same time on 09/20/09, or are we able to transport them in several round trips? We need to be prepared to transfer them at the same time. They are able to enter Sea World at 2pm. They may all leave at 9pm following the closing ceremony. The plan is to schedule a few shuttles back and forth between the hotel and the venue between the hours of 2 and 9 in order to accommodate those who want to leave early or who may want to arrive later. 3) Are the ADA compliant buses required to transport all of the 20 wheelchair passengers at the same time, or can they be transported by making more than one trip? - They can be transported in a couple of trips but we don't want wheelchair veterans to miss out on time at Sea World because we are not prepared to transport them. 4) Same question as #1 above, regarding airport departures/ there will be a manifest and a couple of scheduled shuttles. 5) Are the prices to be quoted as a single "total dollar" amount, a "per vehicle, per hour" amount, or any other specific format? - Since we don't know exactly how many veterans and family members we are transporting (we know the max), we would like the quote in a format that allows us to see the actual cost if the number to be transported if the number is less. A max total with the breakdown of cost would be nice in the event the numbers are lower than expected.
