RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912EE-07-P-0145-P00007. Additional Services at Caddo Lake Dam in the State of Louisiana. This opportunity is available only to Trailboss Enterprises, Inc. under Contract Number W912EE-07-P-0145. Contract Number W912EE-07-P-0145 is to provide mowing, trimming, cleaning, janitorial, litter pickup, herbicide application and fire ant treatment services at the USACE facilities located at Bayou Bodcau Dam and Reservior, Caddo Lake Dam and Wallace Lake Dam in the State of Louisiana. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Vicksburg District intends to issue a modification to Contract Number W912EE-07-P-0145 using American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds for the following additional services at Caddo Lake Dam in the State of Louisiana: (1) remove all piles of debris (including logs larger than 6 in diameter, rocks, etc.) located in the mowing areas. If burned, haul off all residual burn material, fence wire, rocks, etc. and properly dispose of following the burn. (2) treatment of fire ants, pesticide shall be uniformly applied in accordance with label instructions with a mechanical device. In addition to mound treatment, the contractor shall increase services by providing area treatment using the Broadcast Method as necessary for effective results. (3) repair soil erosion and turf damage caused by flooding and construction activities within all mowing and recreation areas. Supply fill material and fill all holes, dirt slides, washes, and eroded mowing surfaces, and level with the same material as the surrounding dirt associated with the areas of mowing. After fill and leveling is complete, broadcast approved fertilizer, (i.e. 13-13-13) and broadcast coastal Bermuda grass seed. Rake-in and cover the grass seed adequately once broadcasting is complete to initiate and enhance seed sprouting and growth. This is not a request for proposal or quotation. A solicitation will not be issued for this requirement.
