- Atch 3 -- Wage Determination Atch 2 -- Government Furnished Property List and Delivery Schedule Atch 1 -- Shipping and Storage Container Refurbishment Statement of Work (SOW) COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR CNU-544/E or CNU-244/E SHIPPING & STORAGE CONTAINER REFURBISHMENT Solicitation: # FA8675-09-R-0270 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FA8675-09-R-0270 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This requirement is set aside 100% for small business and the associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811310 with a size standard of $7,000,000. The government shall provide all government-furnished property and pay for all shipping costs. The government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract. The evaluation factor for this RFQ is lowest price. The Government intends to award one contract as a result of this solicitation. Description of Requirement: Refurbishment of seventy-five (75) Harm Target System Pod Shipping and Storage Containers See Statement of Work (SOW), dated 1 Jul 09, Atch 1, for description of required service. See Government Furnished Property (GFP) List & Delivery Schedule, dated 20 Jul 09, Atch 2. See Wage Determination, dated 5/26/2009, Atch 3. CLIN 0001 Refurbishment of Harm Target System Pod Shipping and Storage Containers The contractor shall provide refurbishment services for shipping and storage containers in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), dated 1 July 2009, Atch 1. Qty: 75 Each Unit Price: ____________ Total Item Amount: ____________ Government Furnished Property: In accordance with the SOW, the Government will provide approximately 85 GFP containers. The Government prefers to ship all 85 containers in one bulk shipment; however, since vendors may not have enough storage to accommodate a bulk shipment, the Government is requesting that offerors submit with their quote a GFP delivery schedule that specifies the number of containers that the offeror can accept at one time and when. Offerors shall submit this information in the GFP schedule table provided in Atch 2. Proposed GFP delivery schedules must ensure the offeror can deliver the refurbished containers in accordance with the required refurbished container delivery schedule specified in this RFQ. Keep in mind that your firm will be storing containers that are refurbished and awaiting shipment. The awarded purchase order will include the successful offeror's GFP delivery schedule in the GFP List & Delivery Schedule, Atch 2.
