Description
Solicitation STATEMENT OF WORK Provide all labor, materials, and equipment in accordance with this document, CD012 Server Room Power, Air And Humidity Engineering Work Package (EWP), and the Special Conditions. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: Mechanical Work: 1.1 Install a Liebert Data mate DME037E-PH3 wall mounted air handler in accordance with the attached Operation and Maintenance Manual. 1.2 Install a Liebert Data mate PFH037A-PL3 outdoors condensing section that is matched to the wall mounted air handler in accordance with the attached Liebert's Installation, Operation and Maintenance Manual. 1.3 Field install "L" copper tubing/supports for the discharge and suction lines in accordance with the attached Liebert's Installation, Operation and Maintenance Manual. "L" copper is to be used for both drain lines also. 1.4 Install ¼" copper water supply line for the new Liebert Data mate, as well as the old Liebert Data mate. 1.5 Install water supply by tapping off the nearest water supply under the building. Saddle valves may be used. 1.6 Prior to charging the systems, perform a leak check, repair leaks as necessary and perform a nitrogen evacuation, if the unit does not come with pre-charged components. Charge systems with Non CFC refrigerant as required by manufacturer's installation requirements. Perform any additional testing as required by the manufacturer's recommendations. 1.7 Condensing sections will be set on concrete slab outside the trailer next to the existing units. 1.8 Condensate drainage point will be to the outside of the building on the ground. 1.9 Insulate the suction line with Armaflex type black insulation. Insulate the condensate drain with the same material. Do not insulate the liquid line. Electrical Work: 1.10 Install a new PMOC-PANB-901-SC panel in the server room next to the existing PMOC-PANB-302 panel. 1.11 Install 60A disconnect switch next to the new condensing unit located outside of the PMOC server room. 1.12 Install one (1) new 100A, 240V, 2-pole circuit breaker on space 16 in the existing PMOC-PANB-900-SC panel for new PMOC-PANB-901-SC panel. 1.13 Install one (1) new 40A, 240V, 2-pole circuit breaker on space 17 in the existing PMOC-PANB-900-SC panel for new PMOC-AIRH-904 air handling system. 1.14 Mount 10"X10"X6" pull box on the PMOC building. 1.15 Install 2" conduit from the PMOC-PANB-900-SC panel on the east side of the pole at the southeast corner of the PMOC to the pull box. Note: Whenever conduits are buried, go no deeper than 6 inches with Rigid PVC Coated Conduit. 1.16 An Excavation Permit is not required for this work. The area is busy with below ground utilities; ensure earth penetration is no more then 6". 1.17 Install 3/4" conduit from the new pull box to new 60A disconnect switch. 1.18 Install 3/4" conduit from the new 60A disconnect switch to the new condensing unit located outside of the PMOC server room. Note: A maximum length of 3-ft 3/4"flexible liquid tight (PVC type) conduit shall be secured to the unit. 1.19 Install 1-1/2" conduit from the new pull box to the new PMOC-PANB-901-SC panel located in the server room. 1.20 Install a quadruplex receptacle between existing quadruplex receptacle on circuit 12 and existing quadruplex receptacle on circuit 13. 1.21 Apply Lockout/Tag-outs to circuits 16, 17 in the existing PMOC-PANB-900-SC panel, circuit 11 in the existing PMOC-PANB-301-SC panel and circuits 11, 12, 13, 14 in existing PMOC-PANB-005 panel to ensure that all energy sources are removed for equipment that is to be worked on in accordance with WA procedure SAF-2.25. 1.22 Remove the control cable for emergency stop shutdown from existing 100A main circuit breaker located in existing PMOC-PANB-302 panel and abandon & tape the existing cable on both ends. 1.23 Remove the emergency stop shutdown and abandon & tape the existing cable in place. At the other end of the cable remove the plug from cable and abandon & tape the existing cable in place. 1.24 Replace existing 100A main circuit breaker located in PMOC-PANB-302 panel with a new 100A main circuit breaker. 1.25 Remove wires from circuits 11, 12, 13, 14 in PMOC-PANB-005. Note: Abandon & tape the existing feeder cable in place. 1.26 Remove wires and conduit from existing quadruplex receptacles on circuits 11, 12, 13, 14 in the server room and abandon & tape wires in place. 1.27 Install 1" conduit from the new PMOC-PANB-901-SC in the server room to new and existing quadruplex receptacles. 1.28 Install 21-1/C #12 AWG Cu (10H-Black, 10N-White, 1G-Green) in the 1-inch conduit from the 20A circuit breakers on circuits 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 17 & 18 in PMOC-PANB-901-SC panel located in the server room to existing quadruplex receptacles and a new quadruplex receptacle. 1.29 Disconnect wires from 2-P, 30A circuit breaker on spaces 13 and 15 located in the existing PMOC-PANB-302 panel in the server room for existing PMOC-AIRH-902 air handling system. 1.30 Install 3/4" conduit from the existing PMOC-PANB-302-SC panel to the new PMOC-PANB-901-SC panel. 1.31 Reroute existing wires in new ¾" conduit to the new PMOC-PANB-901-SC panel in the server room next to the existing PMOC-PANB-302-SC panel and connect the wires to 2-P, 30A circuit breaker on spaces 1 and 3 located in the new PMOC-PANB-901-SC panel. 1.32 Install 3-1/C #8 AWG Cu XHHW-2 (2-H, 1G-green) in the 2" conduit from the 40A circuit breakers on circuit 17 located in PMOC-PANB-900-SC panel on the east side of the pole at the southeast corner of the PMOC, pull box and ¾" conduit to the local 60A disconnect switch. Note: Label new wires at both ends with the appropriate panel no. and circuit no. 1.33 Install 3-1/C #8 AWG Cu XHHW-2 (2-H, 1G-green) in the ¾" conduit from the local 60A disconnect switch to the PMOC-AIRH-904 condensing unit. Note: Label new wires at both ends with the appropriate panel no. and circuit no. 1.34 Install 4-1/C #2 AWG Cu XHHW-2 (2-H, 1N, 1G-green) in the 2" conduit from the 100A circuit breaker on circuit 16 located in PMOC-PANB-900-SC panel on the east side of the pole at the southeast corner of the PMOC, pull box and 1-1/2" conduit to new PMOC-PANB-901 panel located in PMOC server room. Note: Label new wires at both ends with the appropriate panel no. and circuit no. 1.35 Install ¾" conduit from the new evaporator unit to the new condensing unit. 1.36 Install 4/C #16 AWG cable in ¾" conduit from the new evaporator unit located in the PMOC server room to the new condensing unit located outside of the PMOC server room as shown on vendor electrical schematic drawing number 14840 located in attached Liebert's Installation, Operation and Maintenance Manual, page 23, figure 8. 1.37 Abandoned conductors need to be properly insulated to prevent accidentally becoming energized and labeled as "Abandoned Conductor". 1.38 All penetrations shall be sealed. A sealing material such as "Fire Foam" should be employed. 1.39 Remove plastic labels (PMOC-PANB-005 -11, -12, -13, and-14) on existing quadruplex receptacles. 1.40 Label new and existing quadruplex receptacles with the appropriate circuit no "PMOC-PANB-901-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12 and 17, 18". 1.41 All new and existing quadruplex receptacles shall have a plastic label on the box. 1.42 Tag pull box as "PMOC-PANB-900-16 &17". 1.43 Tag the disconnect switch "PMOC-PANB-900-17". 1.44 Tag air handling system as "PMOC-AIRH-904-17". 1.45 Tag new panel as "PMOC-PANB-901-16" and existing panel as "PMOC-PANB-900". Note: Tags for panels, disconnect switch, air handling system and pull box shall be a Phenolic tag, white with black letters 3/16" in height and of sufficient size to contain required information. 1.46 Conductors shall be color coded or identified with phase tape as follows: Voltage Conductor Color 120/240V A Phase Black B Phase Red Neutral White Ground Green 1.47 After job has been completed, remove the LO/TO. General: 1. All testing and inspections to ensure that the final installation performs as designed. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE Contractor will begin work after the Notice to Proceed (NTP) has been issued and shall be complete, including testing and final cleanup, within fourteen (14) calendar days after NTP. CONTRACTOR TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE Contractor shall meet the following requirements: • Be a licensed contractor. ATTACHMENTS 1.
