- The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Western Regional Office, Division of Facilities Management, seeks construction firms to provide all plant, labor, materials and supplies, employee and employee training, services, insurance, and equipment to perform and complete the demolition of five (5) existing buildings located at the Village of Polacca on the Hopi Indian Reservation, Navajo County, Arizona. Location of work is in northern Arizona and is somewhat remote. Demolition of Building Nos. 208, 209, 210, 211 (burned down), and 217, total approximately 5,500 square feet. Remove and dispose of all rubbish and debris resulting from the demolition activities. Buildings consist of exterior block wall, composite shingle roof, concrete foundation and slab of grade, plaster on gypsum board interior stud walls, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, ductwork and all other related construction. NAICS code is 238910. Small Business size is $12 m. Performance time will be 45 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed.Estimated dollar value of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. Bid bonds will be required at time of submittal of quote. Bidders are advised to conduct an on-site visit. Solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quotes and award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible offeror. Solicitation documents will be available for downloading via Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, and will be issued o/a July 24, 2009. Date for submittal of quotes is o/a August 4, 2009, Close of Business 4:30 pm (Arizona time). Offeror must be registered with FBO website to download the solicitation documents. Offerors are encouraged to provide their company information by listing on the "Interested Vendors List" of the announcement in FBO. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced announcement for any updates to this Notice. The Government is not responsible for offerors inability to access the documents posted at the referenced website.
