- Statement of Work for CATM Range Maintenance Svc This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z3619175AQ02; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-35 effective 15 Jul 09 ; Defense DCN 20090115 effective 15 Jan 09, and AFAC 2009-0318 effective 18 March 2009. This acquisition is 100% small business set aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219. The business size standard is $7.0 Million. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is J099. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3589. Travis AFB has a requirement for Quarterly Combat Arms Training and Maintenance (CATM), Firing Range Maintenance Service, in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. Contractor to supply all tools, labor, materials and transportation. 0001-AA : 4 Each, Quarterly CATM Firing Range Maintenance Service: Test air compressor and air lines for leaks, change oil as needed. Test for leaks and the functionality of the Dust Collection Unit. Clean and replace air filters as need. Check photohelic set points and adjust pressure controls as necessary. Empty lead canisters into the 55 gallon drum. Inspect bullet trap plates, baffle traps, joint strips, deflectors and chambers for wear. Wipe down gun cleaning benches/table tops and control room desks. Remove all debris and casings from the range floor. Vacuum all accessible range, weapon cleaning room, and control room floors using an explosion-proof vacuum equipped with a high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter. Vacuum accessible bullet trap areas with a HEPA vacuum; and Replace Dust Collection Unit filters on an as needed basis. Check overall safety, functions and maintenance of range. Provide SFS staff with training for equipment and/or software if needed. Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
