Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract on a sole source basis to Empower RF Systems, Inc in Inglewood, CA for a High Power Amplifier P/N 2024 W/OPT 051 and 061 and Digital Display, P/N OPT-062 to be utilized by the Egyptian Air Force (EAF) Metrology Engineering Calibration Center (MECC) in support of SH-2G. The Government intends to procure this item under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c) (1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1 “Only One Reasonable Source”, therefore, a solicitation is not available for this procurement. The Empower RF Systems Inc, High Power Amplifier and Digital Display is compatible with existing measurements systems already installed in calibration/testing stations and will assure successful calibration and testing results. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
