- NASA/DFRC has a requirement for Qty 1 each Composite Oven.The specifications are:Inside dimensions 4 feet wide, 4 feet tall and 6 feet deep or 5 feet wide 5 feet tall and5 feet deep.Exhaust Blower 100 CFM220/3 phase or 440/3 phase primary power 60 cycle.Programmable controller for temperature, process time and ramp rates.Strip chart recorderAdjustable shelf mounts inside.High temperature wall and door insulation and gasketsTemperature rating:Maximum 450 deg F to 600 deg FMinimum 75 deg F above ambientTemperature uniformity + 10 F at 350 deg Supply Fan 1800 CFM minimum.Ramp rates to 350F at up to 8F/minute Cool down rate controlled to 3F/minuteInterior Thermocouple Jack Panel w/ 6 connections minimumSingle Door hinge on left side facing door from outside.Controller on right side of unit facing the front door.External vacuum connections on right side facing the front door or back.Internal vacuum connections with 3/8 male pipe thread minimum 6Oven Floor required with insulation.This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are beingrequested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to usethe On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above orit may be accessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=. Theinformation required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred)no later than July 25, 2009. Proposals and/or quotes should be received no later than COBJuly 31, 2009. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release ofamendments (if any).
