- Description
- The National Park Service, Mount Rainier National Park has a requirement and is seeking price proposals from SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED firms who have the capability to perform the work described below. This solicitation will be issued electronically (paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available) on the Department of Interior's National Business Center (NBC) website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. An additional source for information is the Federal Business Opportunities website at https://www.fbo.gov/. Bidders wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at http//ideasec.nbc.gov. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee of notification. Plan holders will be required to visit this website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the contract documents. No other notification will be sent.Scope of work: Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, transportation and supervision necessary to remove and replace with in-kind roofing materials including roof paper and flashing on the National Park Inn a 2 story building located in Longmire, WA 98397. For complete scope of work, please see section "C" of the solicitation. The NAICS code and size standard for this procurement are 238160 and $14.0 million. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Only one award shall be made. The estimated time for completion is 60 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded to the contractor submitting the lowest bid and is the best value for the government. A pre-bid site visit may be done (see solicitation package for specifics). All questions must be in writing and may be submitted via email to joann_palmer@nps.gov. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Reply due is August 18, 2009. To be considered for contract award, interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database at http://www.ccr.gov. All SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED firms capable of performing the government's requirement and who have a valid Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS) are invited to submit quotes.
