- Description
- Project consists of machine piling downed residual slash and live or dead brush on an estimated 600 acres on the McCloud Ranger District, Shasta-McCloud Management Unit, Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. It is anticipated that two separate awards will be made from this solicitation. One project location is approximately 25 miles northeast of McCloud, California in Township 42N, Range 2E, Section 17. The other project location is approximately 23 miles northeast of McCloud, California in Township 41N, Range 1E, Sections 15 and 24. Solicitation will be available for viewing from this website on or about August 5, 2009. Estimated start work date is approximately September 15, 2009 with a defined performance period to be included in the solicitation. The Solicitation will be a Request for Proposal requiring both a price and technical proposal responding to the evaluation criteria in the solicitation. No formal site visit is planned on this project.
