Description

Combined Synopsis/Solicitation: This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This request is being issued as Request for Quotation Q8304090428. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and provisions enclosed within are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-29. FAR clauses and provisions are available through Internet access at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This is 100% set aside for small business and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged and women owned business enterprises. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 324121. The Government anticipates making a single award for this solicitation, vendors must quote on all items for their quote to be considered. The following is a description of the requirements for this acquisition. SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall provide and coordinate with NPS HAVO personnel bulk 350 tons of hot asphalt cement (AC), state mix V to the work site location for a NPS crew to resurface the Puu Puai parking area at HAVO, and to provide for NPS HAVO staff pick up of 1000 gal of tack SS1 coat oil. The parking area is 24,840 square feet. Contract will just be for the materials and haul delivery of the AC only to the NPS HAVO crew at the work site. The AC must be hot enough on delivery to allow for up to three hours of material working time. Tack coat oil will be picked up by the HAVO staff.
