- Workstation Specifications The U.S. Department of State (DoS) contemplates multiple Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) awards for Workstations. This RFQ seeks quotations from current General Services Administration (GSA) Contract holders. Only offeror(s) whose GSA Federal Supply Schedule [i.e., Information Technology (IT) 70] contract term is in effect at the time of proposal submission and extends through the Delivery Order performance period are eligible for award. Workstations will be standardized based on the award and all subsequent orders will be restricted to items derived from the standardization. Equipment will be peculiar to one manufacturer (e.g., a particular brand name, product, or a feature of a product, peculiar to one manufacturer). EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS: Offeror’s shall provide equipment that meets the Department’s specifications and mandatory configuration items. Workstations: Brand name or equal to HP dc5850 Specifications: GITM-U 2GB Memory Desktops specification is as follows: EPEAT Certification Gold. Operating System Microsoft ® Windows® Vista Business (32-bit). Chassis Small Form factor chassis preferred; lighter weight is preferred; towers, mini-towers or convertible mini-towers not allowed. (target dimensions: 14.3 x 16 x 5). Processor ( Intel or AMD) 2.5 GHz, Dual Core Processor (or better). Memory 2GB double data rate version 2 (DDR2) Non-error correcting code synchronous dynamic random access memory (SDRAM), 667 MHz - or better, Single or dual DIMMs; must have sufficient slots open for expansion to 4 GB; must be able to add additional RAM to reach 4 GB with installed DIMMs;. Internal Controllers Dual drive controllers, appropriate for internal optical and hard drives;. Drive 80GB Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA II) 7200 rpm 3.0Gb/s 3.5 inch hard drive with 8MB Data Burst Cache (or better) SATA or EIDE DVD+/-RW optical drive;. Video All video ports that count towards meeting the following requirements must be supported by not less than 256MB of dedicated video memory, either on the motherboard or on a PCIe video card. Sharing of system memory by the video controller is not acceptable. • System must contain at least one DVI-I (dual link) video port supporting no less than 1600x1200 resolution • System must provide dual monitor support for both of the following combinations of monitors: o Two SVGA - it is acceptable to meet this requirement with a single-headed video card with a dual-headed adapter for two SVGA connections (which must be provided) o Two DVI – this may be met with an optional dual-headed adapter for two DVI connectors (which need not be supplied) • Must meet Microsoft Windows Vista BusinessEnterpriseUltimate minimum requirements as stated by the Microsoft KB article ID 919183, dated November 13, 2007, Revision 3.3 Network Embedded 10/100/1000BaseT Ethernet NIC; must support IPv6, must support PXE 2.0. Audio External powered desktop speakers for sound; Includes drivers for MS Windows Vista and MS Windows XP Pro; must operate under MS Windows Vista and MS Windows XP Pro (must be compatible with both); must not contain internal speakers other than piezo; external USB powered speakers are preferred.
