- The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) at MacDill AFB issues this Sources Sought Synopsis for information and planning purposes only. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for any information solicited. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to identify potential sources that are interested in and capable of providing the software support described herein. As a result of this Sources Sought, 6 CONS may issue a Solicitation/Request for Quote (RFQ). However, should such a requirement materialize, no basis for claims against 6CONS shall arise as a result of a response to this Sources Sought (e.g., use of such information as either part of its evaluation process or in developing specifications for any subsequent requirement.) GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The 6th Contracting Squadron is seeking vendors who can provide the following: US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) has a requirement for 750 Gallon Fuel Storage Bladders and associated fuel berms that are collapsible and flexible. They must be able to provide both temporary and long term storage of diesel and jet fuels such as JP4 and JP 8. Core Capabilities: The products must meet all of the following requirements: • Fuel Bladders need three 2" openings on top of the bladders for filling, discharging, and venting of the fuel. • The Fuel Bladders (10 Each - 750 Gallons) and Berms (10 Each) need to be constructed of materials that provide ultraviolet light and chemical resistance. Must be collapsible and flexible. • Fuel Bladders and berms must meet or exceed the standards of MIL-T-52983 • 10 Each 2" 90 Degree Gate Valve Assemblies • 10 Each 2" x 10" Double Mushroom Spart Arrester • 10 Each 2' x 10" Flip Top Filler Neck Interested parties will need to summarize their items. The ability to provide these items will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. Sources shall include in their information, a detailed capabilities statement stating their experience in providing the same or similar items described in this notice, a point of contact with phone and e-mail information, business status (Socio-Economic Factors: 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business), business size, and a positive statement of interest to submit a proposal. This request for information is not a commercial solicitation and the Government will not pay for any information submitted, or for any costs associated with providing the information.
