- Description
- RECOVERY ACT - Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform work for project R538-09-104, entitled "Recovery Renovate Basement Bldg 24" at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio, as required by drawings and specifications. Work to be completed within 210 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Plans, specifications, and drawings will be available on line on or about August 3, 2009. All specifications and drawings will be available on line through this website. Estimated cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. A pre-bid-conference will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. (local time) in Building 1, Room 121 at the VA Medical Center,17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, Ohio; all prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers are urged to attend. This will be the only site visit scheduled for this project. Bid Opening Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. (local time) in Building 1, Room 121 at the VA Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio. This project is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. No hard copies of the drawings or specifications will be issued.
